About
I have spent over two decades operating at the intersection of culture and commerce, holding senior leadership positions at some of the world's most respected media institutions. My career has been defined by a rare fluency in two languages: the commercial language of brand partnerships and deal structures, and the editorial language of narrative, taste, and cultural relevance.
I began my career at the Financial Times, spending over a decade with How To Spend It and the FT's lifestyle portfolio. It was at the FT that I first connected the worlds of contemporary art and commercial media — building partnerships with institutions like Frieze, Art Basel, and the major auction houses that helped transform the FT's arts revenue from six figures to seven. I later joined Guardian News & Media as Fashion Publisher, before moving to Condé Nast to serve as International Advertising Director for British Vogue and later overseeing commercial strategy for the full fashion portfolio, including GQ, Tatler, World of Interiors, and Condé Nast Traveller. Most recently, I was on the senior leadership team at Dezeen.
In each of these roles, I sat on both sides of the wall, navigating the complex space between the editorial vision and the commercial engine. This experience has given me a unique operational advantage: I don't just understand how to build a brand story; I understand the internal mechanics, politics, and P&L realities of the platforms that tell them.
